Warehouse Supervisor
Chicago, Illinois / QualTek Services Concurrent Power / Full-time EVP / HR Job Summary : This position is responsible for the daily management and reconciliation of owned and / or consigned inventory in a warehouse setting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Oversee daily warehouse operations, the warehouse staff, and all functional processes Utilize the inventory management system for the daily tracking of inventory Oversee the receipt and verification of incoming shipments, and ensure equipment and materials are inspected upon receipt Oversee the process for accurate and efficient pick and distribution of materials Resolve invoice and / or packing slip discrepancies Oversee the process for safe and efficient storage of materials Manage the weekly material requisitions and usage reporting Ensure the proper documentation is completed for all transactions Maintain a clean and orderly work environment Create an efficient warehouse design to ensure maximization of space utilization Safeguard warehouse operations and contents as per the established security guidelines Liaise with Shared Services to manage the markets fleet, including but not limited to vehicle assignments, routine maintenance, repairs, vehicle registration, and inspection compliance Conduct physical inventory counts on a quarterly basis Other duties as assigned Supervisory Job Duties : Carries out supervisory duties in accordance with the Companys objectives, policies, and applicable laws.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to : planning, assigning, and directing work, interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing employee concerns, and partnering with HR to resolve escalated employee matters.

Education : High school diploma, general education degree (G.E.D.), or related trade school education
Experience : Three to five years warehouse operations experience Two years experience in a supervisory position Forklift certification preferred Commercial Drivers License (CDL) preferred Technical Skills : Computer and Microsoft Office proficiency Ability to utilize an inventory management system Soft Skills : Highly organized and detail oriented Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines Ability to think analytically, apply sound judgment, and solve problems Ability to lead, teach, train, and motivate staff Physical Requirements : Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing Must have a valid drivers license and a driving record that meets Company requirements Must be in good physical condition with the ability to stoop, crawl, bend at the knees and waist, squat and frequently lift up to 100 lbs.
