Responsibilities include :
Primary teaching responsibilities involve face to face lecture sections of Discrete Mathematics on the Newberg campus, three days a week.
Other courses may also be available.
Course Description : Discrete Mathematics (3 hours) An introduction to discrete mathematics. Topics covered include sets, functions, math induction, combinatorics, recurrence, graph theory, trees, and networks.
Three lectures per week.
Qualifications
- B.S. or higher is required in mathematics or related field. M.S. or higher preferred.
- Previous teaching experience in related fields is desirable (but not required).
- Excellent professional, interpersonal, organization, and communication skills.
- A commitment to working with a diverse population of students is essential; demonstrated experience in this area is preferred.
- All applicants must express a personal commitment to Jesus Christ and express their Christian testimony in a local church.
