Our Travel Resorts Billing Department is in need for an outgoing person to assist with all aspects of a busy billing department.
Potential applicants should possess excellent telephone commutative skills, and prior billing / collection experience. Applicant will perform minor administrative tasks, but the majority of workday will be spent collecting past due amounts from members, and fielding incoming calls and handling customer issues.
Hours for this position are Mon-Thursday 11am -7pm, and Friday or Saturday 9am -5pm.
DUTIES
Outbound calling to delinquent members and providing account assistance
Confer with customers by phone to provide information about member accounts using computerized methods, to answer inquiries / delinquent accounts.
Resolve member service or billing complaints by performing activities such as refunding / adjusting services / billing.
Research disputed membership claims to insure thorough and complete investigation is made and resolution is fair and justified.
Maintain good customer relations by keeping abreast of all company / department policies to be able to answer questions and concerns with timely and knowledgeable responses, on telephone.
Obtain and examine all relevant information to assess validity of complaints and determine possible causes that initiated member complaint.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have high school graduate level mathematical aptitude.
Must have past experience in dealing directly with sales, telemarketing phone collections and acquired general knowledge of basic customer service skills.
Must be fluent in oral and written English.
General knowledge of computer operations and Microsoft software or equivalent.
Must be a self-starter and able to prioritize multiple tasks, work with minimal supervision, exercise good judgment and be highly motivated and detail oriented.
Must be flexible and have the ability to multi-task and exercise critical thinking skills.
