We are looking for a licensed Physical Therapist to join our team of health professionals in providing excellent and compassionate home care.
Duties :
- Typically, you'll be working with post-op patients in their own homes to help them with recovery.
- You will be consulting with them to learn about their current condition and assess and evaluate their mobility to develop proper treatment plans.
- You will also be creating personalized fitness-oriented healthcare programs and administering physical therapy treatments to relieve pain and improve the patient's mobility.
- Driving within a limited area, you will be visiting 4-6 patients per day between the hours of 8 : 00 AM-5 : 00 PM.
- Most of our Full-time PTs are done for the day by 3 : 00 PM as long as they get to their first patient by 8 : 30 AM!

Electronic documentation in the field is a breeze because we provide you with your own iPad with data plan and a system that is easy to navigate, full of templates to use.
Because we do not accept Medicare, the requirements for your documentation are streamlined making it fast and simple to create complete and authentic notes that are acceptable to our patients' private insurance companies.
Position Overview :
- A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy and a Maryland license is required for consideration.
- To be successful in this role, you will need to be updated with the latest knowledge in treatment practices, as well as the ability to manage various types of clients with kindness and patience.
- Must have EXCELLENT time management skills, perfect professional boundaries, and exceptionally good manners.
- Must be committed to achieving all scheduled visits.
- Must commit to being available to work between 8 : 00 AM and 5 : 00 PM weekdays.
Physical Therapist Responsibilities :
- Consulting with patients to learn about their physical condition.
- Assessing and interpreting patient evaluations and test results.
- Developing treatment plans using a variety of treatment techniques.
- Creating personalized fitness-oriented health care programs for patients.
- Administering medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain and improve mobility.
- Advising clients on exercise techniques.
- Educating clients and their families about in-home treatment options.
- Providing educational information about injury prevention, ergonomics, and ways to promote physical health.
- Consulting and collaborating with other clinicians on the client’s team.
- Documenting client care and submitting all notes on the same day as the visit.
- Complying with rules, regulations, and procedures.
- Occasionally helping to train new staff (allowing them to shadow you)
- Providing supervision to any PTA's working under you and in your same areas
Physical Therapist Requirements :
- A Master’s Degree / Doctorate in physical therapy from an accredited educational institution.
- Compliant with state regulatory requirements.
- A valid license to practice Physical Therapy in Maryland.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Compassionate and attentive to detail.
- Possess up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices.
- Ability to solve problems independently.
- Excellent analytical and logical thinking.
- Ability to manage patients with different personalities.
- Ability to write reports and correspondence at a professional level.
- Highly ethical and honest.
- Ability to use a computer and software proficiently.
- Drive to continually learn new treatment techniques.
- Driver’s license and reliable, fully insured automobile.
- CPR certified.
- An earnest desire to contribute to our client’s recovery experience at home.
