Candidates should preferably have already earned (or are near the completion of) a Ph.D. in economics.
Candidates should be committed to excellence in both teaching and scholarly research. The successful candidate will teach courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in microeconomics and specialized topics within finance, although they should also be willing to teach econometrics and quantitative methods as well as introductory macroeconomics courses.
The ability to oversee and administer the Department’s Student Managed Investment Fund will be a significant asset.
