To address the growing demands within the Department of Defense, SAIC is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Project Manager to join our Digital and AI Team as we embark on a large initiative to lead the design and operate integrated Enterprise IT solutions that deliver AI-enabled capabilities and enable data-driven decision making to missions across the Department, Services, and Combatant Commands.

Role Summary : We are seeking a Project Manager who will thrive in a face-paced agile environment to support our programs to provide data-centric, AI and decision support solutions for SAIC’s CJADC2 and Enterprise AI portfolios.

Core Responsibilities :

  • Develop major concepts, initiatives, processes, procedures, PM tools and programs.
  • Facilitating and leading agile processes such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives.
  • Collaborating with team members and stakeholders to determine project goals, project scope, and deliverables, ensuring that they align with business objectives.
  • Managing and prioritizing product backlog by working closely with the product owner.
  • Supporting the development team in various ways, such as removing obstacles and bottlenecks that delay progress, allocating resources as needed, and escalating major issues as necessary.
  • Monitoring project progress and providing timely updates on project status to stakeholders using agile metrics and visual management tools.
  • Promoting a culture of collaboration, self-efficiency, and continuous improvement to foster agile teams.
  • Applying agile methodologies, principles, and practices to drive efficient project development, adapting the methodologies as needed.
  • Acting as a servant-leader by coaching and mentoring team members and fostering a positive agile environment
  • Provide consulting services and analyses for developing project Metrics and Performance Standards based on the project milestones and outcomes that are traceable to the Sponsor’s Strategic Intent.
  • Directly support PMs in executing their programs, preparing briefings, documentation, and working with customers, stakeholders, and team members to provide an integrated solution.

Role Summary : We are seeking a Project Manager to provide support in a face-paced and dynamic team to lead and manage top-level delivery cutting-edge analytic, AI / ML, RPA, and decision support solutions for SAIC’s CJADC2 and Enterprise AI portfolios, fostering improved decision-making and operational efficiency for the Department, Services, and Combatant Commands.

Core Responsibilities :

  • Develop major concepts, initiatives, processes, procedures, PM tools and programs.
  • Assess, and enhance programs : Requirements Definition, Strategic Planning, Stakeholder Analysis, Project Charter, Project Management Plan, and After Action Reports.
  • Utilize Agile Scrum methodology and risk management tools to enhance project tracking, coordination, Critical Path Analysis and de-conflict with other projects.
  • Provide consulting services and analyses for developing project Metrics and Performance Standards based on the project milestones and outcomes that are traceable to the Sponsor’s Strategic Intent.
  • Provide consulting support to staff PMs and support personnel in project management principles, techniques and processes to include assessing Project Status, Reporting, Progress Tracking, Control Gates, Data Management, Project Communication, Risk Analysis, and Stakeholder involvement.
  • Directly support PMs in executing their programs, preparing briefings, documentation, and working with customers, stakeholders, and team members to provide an integrated solution.
  • Organize, update, and maintain information repositories including documentation, master schedules, collaboration tools and a wide range of strategic and tactical information.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications :

  • Possess a minimum of an active Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of related experience.
  • Experience as an agile project manager or a similar role in product management or program management, demonstrating a proven track record of successful project delivery using agile methods.
  • In-depth knowledge of agile frameworks such as well as a solid understanding of their principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with traditional project management methodologies.
  • Proficiency in using traditional and agile project management tools and software to facilitate project planning, tracking, and collaboration.
  • Experience working with challenging customers and managing complex stakeholder relationships.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • TS clearance and SCI eligibility
  • Program Management Professional (PMP), ITIL-3 or ITIL-4, and / or agile or scrum related certifications.
  • Familiarity with : Change management, Facilitation, Organizational Assessment, Process Modeling, Business Planning, Business Process Reengineering, Consensus Building, Organizational Restructure, Design, and Implementation, Project Management Processes, Data Modeling, and Benchmarking / metrics.

Target salary range : $200,001 - $240,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
