The X-ray Operator performs high quality X-ray inspection for production quality control and will detect a wide range of manufacturing defects, including : BGA, QFN and PTH solder fill, voiding, component damage and counterfeit device screening.

Major Responsibilities Include :
- Setup and operate a variety of machines in production to assemble printed circuit boards
- Interpret and follow standard procedures, written assembly instructions, assembly drawings and engineering documentation to achieve quality and production goals
- Document operating parameters and other operator level preventative maintenance on equipment including basic daily cleaning of machine surfaces, scrap bins, and surrounding production areas. (5S)
- Follow all policies regarding safety and material handling
- Knowledge of workmanship standards related to assembly
- Develop a working knowledge of electronic components part numbers, descriptions, values, etc.
- Communicate quality issues to the proper personnel
- Troubleshoot and correct minor machine problems when necessary
- Assist with other duties in the Production area as needed.
Qualifications :
- 1-3 years of experience
- Associate’s degree, relevant military experience, equivalent vocational education, or equivalent experience.
- Basic math skills are important.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and follow instructions.
- Organizational and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of current safety requirements.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Must have good hand and eye coordination.
- Minimal lifting on occasion, not to exceed 30 pounds.
