Position Details
Work under the direction of the Preschool Teacher to provide a well-organized, smoothly functioning educational and therapy program.
This position includes assisting the classroom teacher in maintaining required records to ensure GSRP grant compliance and licensing guidelines.
EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE :
Required :
- Associate Degree in early childhood education or Child Development or the equivalent or valid classroom CDA credential
- Two years of work experience with young children
Preferred :
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training
- Certification in CPR and First Aid
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and teachers
- Ability to work well with diverse families
- Knowledge of community agencies and other resources
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, and REGISTRATIONS
