General Purpose :
Maintains kitchen areas and provides host / housekeeping services for a variety of functions, this includes but is not limited to daily luncheons, regular meetings, and client or firm conferences.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities :
- Maintains individual kitchen areas, including making coffee, replenishes supplies, performs light cleaning duties in kitchens, offices and common areas.
- Provides host services such as food and beverage set up and clean up for a variety of functions including daily luncheons, regular meetings, and client conferences.
- Performs light housekeeping duties in the lounge, kitchen, mini supply and conference areas including vacuuming, cleaning kitchen appliances and other related duties as assigned.
- Maintains and cleans kitchen equipment, ice makers, refrigerators, microwaves, Flavia, Keurig, and beverage cooler.
- Maintains proper stock levels in kitchen and conference areas.
- Assists various firm personnel with the coordination of catering services.
- Acts as a greeter / host for a variety of functions, this includes but is not limited to daily luncheons, regular meetings, and client or firm conferences.
- Cleaning vacant office spaces in preparation for the arrival of secretaries, staff, summer clerks, and attorneys
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications (Education, Experience and Certification) :
- High school degree required.
- Two or more years’ experience in a professional environment preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work productively under pressure.
- Demonstrated skill in working effectively with others.
- Public relations skills as required to represent the firm in a pleasant and professional manner.
- Flexibility in working hours as required to complete priority projects or to provide backup coverage for all facets of the Services Department.
- Requires excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Windows operating system : Microsoft Word, Excel; Outlook and other Windows based software.

Physical Requirements :
- While performing the duties of this position, the employee must have the ability to sit, stand and / or walk for extended periods of time;
- manipulate (lift, carry, move) weights of at least fifty (50) pounds; have repetitive wrist / hand / finger movement to work on a computer and / or related office equipment;
speak clearly and concisely so listeners can understand; and regularly understand the speech of another person.
