- Oversee daily bookkeeping and accounting tasks such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, journal entries, and QuickBooks bank reconciliations.
- Ensure accuracy in company's financial records and accounts to uphold the precision of financial statements.
- Record financial transactions in appropriate accounts.
- Process payroll promptly and accurately, including deductions, benefits, and taxes, adhering to federal and state regulations.
- Support CPA in preparing and filing tax returns and other necessary statutory documents.
- Maintain an organized financial filing system, ensuring the confidentiality and security of all documents.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial projections.
- Manage business licenses, ensuring they are up-to-date and displayed as required.
- Maintain personnel records and assist in the onboarding and offboarding processes for employees.
- Stay current with professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, building networks, and engaging in ongoing training and development.
