The Premium Audit Department within The Cincinnati Insurancepanies is currently seeking a premium auditor for our Eugene, Oregon territory to audit property and casualtymercial lines policies to establish appropriate classifications, exposures and basis of premium.
Develop earned premiums in accordance withpany, industry andernment rules and regulations.
Candidates must live in territory to be considered.
Salary
The pay range for this position is $70,000 - $100,000 annually . The pay determination is based on the applicant's education, experience, location, knowledge, skills and abilities.
Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based onpany and individual performance.
Be ready to :
- travel to agents'mercial clients to conduct audits
- develop earned premiums in accordance withpany, industry andernment rules and regulations
- verify premium basis by reviewing ledgers, state or federal quarterly records, financial statements and other accounting records
- investigate and establish correct policy classifications through personal interview and physical inspections of the insured's premises
- document changes in the insured's operations
- prepare and submitpleted reports within established time frames
- interact with agents and associates tomunicate and support audit results
Be equipped with :
- ability to work independently
- strong organizational skills
- effectivemunication
- solid analytical skills
- strong knowledge of the property and casualty business and products
- underwriting experience
- strong automation skills
Bring education or experience from :
- degree in insurance, accounting or related field
- industry designation, Associate in Premium Auditing (APA) or Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) is preferred
Required :
experience in insurance and / or auditing
