Title : Tax Compliance Associate Job Summary : As a Tax Compliance Associate, you will be a member of a team ensuring that our company adheres to all relevant tax regulations and laws.

You will work closely with the tax team to prepare and file tax returns, maintain accurate records, and assist in tax planning activities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of tax principles.

Responsibilities : Prepare and file various tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, and property tax, in compliance with relevant regulations and deadlines.

Assist in gathering and organizing financial data necessary for tax filings, including income statements, balance sheets, and expense reports.

Conduct research on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for tax optimization.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of tax-related documents and transactions.

Assist in responding to tax notices and inquiries from tax authorities, as well as participating in tax audits when necessary.

Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and accounting, to gather relevant information and ensure consistency in reporting.

Assist in tax planning activities, including estimating tax liabilities, evaluating tax implications of business decisions, and recommending strategies to minimize tax exposure.

Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders within the organization.

Support the tax team in special projects, such as implementing new tax software or systems, conducting tax research, and analyzing tax implications of mergers or acquisitions.

Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CPA certification or progress towards CPA is preferred.

Previous experience in tax compliance, accounting, or a related field is highly desirable.Strong understanding of tax principles, regulations, and compliance requirements.

Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
