Description : We're looking for a motivated Civil Engineer with expertise in transportation and public works to join our team.
As a Civil Project Engineer, you'll lead the design and management of projects crucial to enhancing our community's infrastructure.
Responsibilities :
- Design and develop transportation and public works projects, including roads, highways, drainage systems, and sidewalks.
- Conduct complex geometric design calculations for alignments.
- Prepare detailed construction documents, plans, and specifications.
- Coordinate with utility providers to resolve conflicts during design and construction.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure projects meet community needs.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and timelines.
- Supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
- Obtain permits and approvals from government agencies.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Arizona.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in transportation project engineering or public works.
- Expertise in geometric design principles and software.
- Strong understanding of drainage, stormwater management, and utility infrastructure.
- Knowledge of construction methods and materials.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Effective communication with technical staff, stakeholders, and the public.
