About the Opportunity :
Soliant Education is seeking a highly motivated Special Education Teacher to join our team in the Middleborough, MA area.
This is an ASAP interview opportunity for the 24 / 25 school year . In this full-time, in-person role, you will work directly with a caseload of 5th-grade students, fostering their academic and social-emotional growth.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
- Deliver effective instruction in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Utilize a variety of evidence-based instructional strategies to promote student engagement and mastery.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to ensure a cohesive educational experience for all students.
- Monitor student progress and make data-driven adjustments to instruction as needed.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative school climate.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a closely related field.
- Valid Massachusetts Teaching License with a specialization in Special Education.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with 5th-grade students in a special education setting (preferred).
- Strong understanding of curriculum development, differentiation, and instructional strategies for diverse learners.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Passion for fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
