Our sonographers work in the inpatient setting within the Radiology department with rotating weekends and holidays. Department Highlights

As a Pediatric Echosonographer, you will play a critical role in continuing the healing mission of Deaconess. Job Overview :
- The Per Diem Pediatric Echocardiogram Sonographer is responsible for providing diagnostic cardiac imaging and detailed patient history and findings to the cardiologist, written and / or verbal
- Knowledgeable of pediatric echo protocols and charging protocols for The Women’s Hospital, Deaconess Riley Clinic and Riley Hospital
- Knowledgeable of process for reporting critical value readings and tracking as well as transmitting images to on-call physicians.
- Responsible for shared training of new Pediatric Echo Sonographers.
- On call is required as needed for the department.
Required : Certifications / Licenses / Education :
- The Sonographer must be a graduate of an accredited school of ultrasound or have echo specific experience
- RCS is required within 18 months of hire
- Job training with the Pediatric Cardiologist is required.
- BLS is required within 6 months of hire.
