About The Position
Job Title : Mammography Tech Job Specialty : Radiology Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : 08 : 00 - 16 : 30 Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum of 2 years License : Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography Certifications : - Mammography Certification- Basic Life Support Certification- RT(M)- CPR Must-Have : Graduate of an Accredited Program of Radiological Technology- Meet and maintain MQSA requirements- Breast ultrasound experience Job Description : Perform screening mammograms with Tomosynthesis and diagnostic mammograms with Tomosynthesis.
- Conduct implant imaging, breast ultrasound imaging, US guided needle localizations, and US guided biopsies.- Conduct stereotactic biopsies using Hologic Selenia Dimensions and Philips Ultrasound Affiniti.
- Maintain patient ratios of 25 screens with Tomo or 6-8 diagnostics with ultrasound.- Provide effective and high-quality imaging to demonstrate anatomic images for interpretation.
- Deliver appropriate patient care essential for successful completion of procedures.- Adhere to professional practices while ensuring a healthy work environment.
- Collaborate with a team consisting of 1 supervisor and 4-6 staff members.- Exhibit independent thinking with critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and adaptability.- Proficient with EMR - EPIC.
