Piper Companies is seeking a Software Engineering Program Manager to join an established Electronics Manufacturing company located in Framingham, Massachusetts .
This position is Hybrid , and requires you to be onsite Tuesday-Thursday. The Software Engineering Program Manager will spearhead the development of cutting-edge automotive experiences.
Responsibilities of the Software Engineering Program Manager :
- Promote alignment and teamwork among software development teams and internal stakeholders to design, build, test and deliver software efficiently and with top notch quality.
- Take charge of delivering enabling technologies, handling interdependencies and mitigating risks.
- Cultivate connections with technical experts, stakeholders, and senior management.
- Effectively oversee project requirements, scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risks while exemplifying strong leadership and communication skills.
Qualifications of the Software Engineering Program Manager :
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in a related industry.
- Capability to imitate and maintain crucial partnership engagements
- Background in overseeing firmware suppliers and collaborating with third-party development partners.
- Proficiency in agile methodologies and navigating the complexities of hybrid agile / waterwall approaches
- Prior software development and test experience with embedded applications, C, C++, MATLAB, or Python is a plus.
- Automotive and ASPICE experience is a plus.
- Bachelors Degree in relevant engineering discipline or Masters Degree.
