Mercor is currently looking for skilled software developers with 4+ years of experience to help streamline other engineering efforts and deliver on projects.
Responsibilities
- Be completely hands on with the engineering tasks
- Manage, coach, and support engineering team
- Implement and monitor technical strategy performance metrics
- Communicate engineer team goals with engineering staff members
- Coordinate internal teams to ensure project timelines are met
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an elite University (All ivy leagues / MIT / Stanford)
- Any additional qualifications like an MS or PhD are nice to have and would be preferred.
- 4+ years of engineering experience
- Previous experience with TypeScript / JavaScript and Node
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Details about the role :
The role is hybrid with the majority of your time being remote. You are expected to visit the team every now and then so that you can bond with the other team members.
Since you would be starting out part time, it is fine to come meet the team on Saturday for a few hours.
- You would be working 20-30 hours per week. Yes, you can have this job on top of your main job
- Hourly rates for the role is 80-120 USD / hr
- You’ll work as an independent contractor.
