Come join our BJC Team today! Flexible, clinics open from 0700 to 1830 Working in an Outpatient Rehab Department Overview Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital offers highly specialized surgical and medical services in an intimate environment and is known for outstanding patient care.
With 64 private patient rooms, 14 operating rooms and four intensive care unit rooms, the facility was designed to provide a comforting environment that is innovative, efficient and centered on the patient experience.
The campus features a park-like setting with landscaping and a walking path that winds through the grounds and connects to Millennium Park.
The Center for Advanced Medicine - South County is a new outpatient facility, jointly owned by Washington University School of Medicine and Barnes-Jewish Hospital, that is under constructions in South St.
Louis County. The building, scheduled to be open in late Spring 2016, is located near the Siteman Cancer Center at I-55 and Butler Hill Rd.
This new, two-story, approximately 84,500 square foot outpatient facility will include outpatient surgery, imaging, lab, therapy and Washinton University physician subspeciality offices including the Departments of Orthopaedic Surgery, Internal Medicine, Opthalmology, Surgery and OB / GYN.
The surgery suite includes two operating rooms and two minor procedure rooms. Imaging Services will include plain film, CT, MRI and screening mammography.
Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose This role provides rehabilitative massage therapy services to patients per physician approved plans of care to include myofascial release services.
Responsibilities Educates, collaborates with, and conferences with patients, families, and other health care providers; making recommendations for referrals to specialists as needed.
Completes documentation in accordance with departmental policies. Establishes treatment plan and provides treatment including Myofascial Release specialty services under the direction of a physician order.
Provides assessment, reassessment, and / or consultations for Massage Therapy Services including Fascial Release specialty services.
Delegates to techs and students through written and verbal communication including determining the skill level or competency required to provide interventions to best meet the needs of the patient.
Minimum Requirements Education Associate or Trade School Equi - MASSAGE THERAPY Experience
