In order to build upon the continued success and rapid growth of their utility-scale solar operations, our client is looking to fill key Project Manager vacancies across the United States, including in the Houston Area !

The ideal candidate will be responsible for upholding high safety standards, overseeing project timelines and budgets, collaborating effectively with internal multidisciplinary teams, and cultivating strong relationships with clients and other key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive contract administration, technical expertise, and support for a medium-sized solar construction project.
  • Creates and executes the project safety plan, setting a positive example for health and safety practices and procedures.
  • Ensures that the project is built in accordance with the design, budget, resources, quality standards, and timeline.
  • Recognizes client motivations and presents value engineering solutions that enhance functionality, reduce costs, and optimize schedules.
  • Oversees project performance and delivers status reports on safety, cost projections, and scheduling.
  • Comprehends, conveys, and upholds the contract and its associated documents.
  • Negotiates and issues subcontracts, significant purchase orders, and progress payments, while also overseeing their progress and timelines.
  • Manages and organizes the overall project closeout process.
  • Identifies and manages risk and opportunities on construction projects.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, or a related field preferred, equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • Ideal candidate will have over 8 years of progressive construction experience, with leadership and mentoring roles preferred.
  • 2-3 years of utility-scale solar experience preferred.
