• Job Title : Experienced CT Technologist
• Location : Houston Heights area, Houston, TX
• Shift : days, 6am 6 : 30 PM, 3X12’s per week
• Weekly Hours : 36 hours
• Term : 13 weeks
• Pay : $75 / Hr
• Pay : $76 / Hr

Job Requirements

Expectations of the position :

• Perform high-quality CT scans to provide clear images for accurate diagnosis.
• Prepare and position patients, administer contrast when needed, and ensure patient comfort throughout the procedure.
• Monitor and enter patient data and ensure technical quality.
• Assist in the maintenance and quality assurance of CT equipment.
• Support the department's accreditation efforts (e.g., ACR applications).
• Take emergency calls, potentially work weekends, and be flexible to float to other locations as needed.

Requirements

Experience :

• At least two (2) current years of experience as a CT Technologist or Radiologic Technologist with relevant CT training.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lift or maneuver patients with assistance.

Education : Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

• Licenses / Certifications :
• Current Basic or Advanced Life Support certification (AHA required).
• Active Texas Medical Board (MRT) license.
• Certified as a CT Technologist by ARRT (CT) or NMTCB(CT) or other related certifications with documented CT training.
