We are currently seeking a responsible, dedicated, and proactive individual to join our team as a Motor Coach Dispatcher Manager.
Responsibilities :
Dispatch Operations :
- Oversee daily dispatch operations to ensure efficient scheduling and routing of motor coaches.
- Monitor and adjust routes based on traffic conditions and other factors.
- Ensure timely communication with drivers and resolve any issues that arise during operations.
Team Management :
- Supervise and support the dispatch team, providing training and development opportunities.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and address any staffing issues promptly.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
Customer Service :
- Address customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and improve service quality.
Compliance and Safety :
- Ensure compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies.
- Develop and enforce safety protocols to minimize risk and ensure the safety of passengers and staff.
- Conduct regular audits and training sessions on safety and compliance.
Record Keeping :
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch operations, including driver logs, route schedules, and incident reports.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management on dispatch performance and metrics.
Communication :
- Maintain clear and effective communication with drivers, the dispatch team, and senior management.
- Keep staff informed of any route changes, schedules, or company policies.
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Transportation Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in dispatch operations or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation industry standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in dispatch software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience in managing a dispatch team.
- Certification in transportation or logistics management.
- Familiarity with route planning and scheduling software.

Schedule :
