We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will provide essential support to patients and assist the nursing staff in delivering high-quality care.

Duties :

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
• Provide basic patient care, including feeding, turning, and repositioning
• Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety at all times
• Perform basic medical procedures under the supervision of nursing staff, such as suture removal or catheter care
• Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
• Assist with physical examinations and collect specimens for laboratory testing
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical record systems like Cerner
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times

Skills :

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills :

• Strong knowledge of patient care techniques and procedures
• Experience in critical care or assisted living settings is preferred
• Proficiency in medication administration and dosage calculations
• Familiarity with medical equipment and devices commonly used in healthcare settings
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation of patient information
• Compassion and empathy towards patients of diverse backgrounds
