SUMMARY :
Regeneron is looking for a Sr. Manager, Employee Relations (International), who will lead employee relations activity for Regeneron’s international workforce across Europe.
Works with all appropriate parties to resolve employee relations issues, including performance, grievance, or disciplinary actions, identifies underlying issues and recommends solutions to business leaders.
ROLE OVERVIEW :
Regeneron is looking for a Sr. Manager, Employee Relations (International), who will conduct investigations, provide advice and direction regarding employee and labour relations matters to HR key stakeholders, business leaders, and employees across the organization.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Ensure legal compliance and adherence to policies including dignity at work, disciplinary and grievance are met consistently, objectively, and fairly.
- Conduct intake meetings, background research, fact-finding investigations, interviews, and debrief meetings to resolve cases quickly and effectively for all involved.
Manage end to end complex investigations.
- Partners closely with a variety of key stakeholders including HR business partners, business leaders, works councils and employment counsel in investigating and resolving assigned cases
- Provides mediation as a solution to conflict where required
- Deliver training as needed to managers and employees on ER Best Practices and case management.
- Maintain accurate case entry practices and identify areas for improvement by leveraging analytics and data trends and / or discerning systemic issues revealed during the investigative process
- Participate in projects led by the Employee and Labor Relations team as needed
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
- 10+ years related HR experience
- 8+ years’ experience leading investigations and resolution of sensitive and complicated employee and labour relations issues
- Demonstrate knowledge of international laws, regulations, concepts, and practices applicable to all aspects of employment in a multinational environment
- Experience with labour relations third party institutions (e.g. Workplace Relations Commission / Labor Court) and similar bodies in other European jurisdictions.
- Superb communication skills including effective listening, clear and concise writing, and presentation
- Proven interpersonal skills to negotiate, influence, and resolve issues at all levels in the organization and in collaboration with HRBPs and business leaders
- Strong time management and prioritizing ability to balance multiple urgent assignments simultaneously
- Consistently exhibits levels of discretion, integrity and confidentiality
- Flexible and adaptable work demeanor to manage demands across multiple time zones
- Respectful, diplomatic, and culturally sensitive in the face of difficult and sensitive situations and conversations
- Ability to work both independently and as a team player in a cross-functional global team structure
