ROLE of the POSITION
The Education & Outreach Coordinator exists to be responsible for the development, implementation, and assessment of university-wide power-based violence prevention and awareness education.
This position will also work closely with the Director to develop outcome and impact reports that show the impact of prevention, education and intervention services on the UNLV community, including connecting services and student outcomes to the UNLV Top Tier Initiative.
As the Education Coordinator, this position serves as a liaison with university departments and student organizations, and develops, coordinates, and delivers multi-disciplinary violence prevention and awareness focused on sexual assault, relationship violence, family violence and stalking.
As the Outreach Coordinator, this position plans, executes and delegates innovative student engagement strategies to promote Care Center services and programs.

PROFILE of the DEPARTMENT / COLLEGE
The Care Center offers confidential support services, holistic healing workshops, campus education, and awareness events to members of the UNLV, NSC, and CSN communities impacted by sexual violence, relationship violence, family violence, and / or stalking.
The Care Center operates from an anti-oppression framework to provide trauma-informed and healing-centered care. As such, candidates interested in this position must adhere to and support the anti-oppression vision and values upheld by the Care Center.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and / or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and 1-3 years of anti-violence advocacy and / or prevention experience to include sexual violence, relationship / family violence, and stalking and experience with workshop facilitation, public speaking, and training experiences for diverse audiences .
Credentials must be obtained prior to the start date.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working with grants, including developing monitoring and analyzing grant data
