Model Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) (ISD Division)

CFD Research is seeking a talented Model Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) with an ACTIVE Secret clearance, to join a well-established team supporting the development of tools for Open Architecture Management Office (OAMO), at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.

We are searching for an engineer with experience developing models and simulations in support of complex system analysis objectives.

Candidates must have Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and SysML diagraming skills. The qualified candidate must also be able to work independently and have effective writing and verbal communication skills.

U.S. Citizenship is required

Basic Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Systems Engineering and 2+ years of related experience
• Experience using Cameo
• Experience using Systems Modeling Language (SysML)
• Use Cases
• State Machines
• Sequence Diagrams
• Experience in SysML diagramming tools
• Knowledge of SOSA Technical Standard
• Strong analytical and communication skills and ability to work individually and with teams
• Candidate must be a US Citizen and meet eligibility to obtain / maintain a security clearance

Preferred Qualifications :

• Active DoD Secret clearance and ability to secure a TS / SCI
• Knowledge of Teamwork Cloud (TWC)
• Knowledge of Software / model repository environments
• Knowledge of ASCIIDoc
• Knowledge of GitLab
• Knowledge of JIRA
• Familiarity with any of the following standards
• Government Avionics Reference Architecture (GARA)
• Open Mission Systems / Universal Command and Control Interface (OMS / UCI)
• Big Iron
• Common Open Architecture Radar Programs (COARPs)
• Resilient-Embedded Global Positioning System (R-EGI)

Location : This role is based in the Dayton, OH area, and is 100% onsite.
