Job Title - Supply Chain Associate
Job Function - OE SCM (Supply Chain Management)
Report to - OE SCM Manager
Job Purpose
Job Purpose :
The Supply Chain Associate will be accountable for coordinating, maintaining, and monitoring customer orders and stock levels at distribution centers for all OE business partners.
This position is also responsible for administrative tasks such as ordering office supplies and expense reports.
Key Accountabilities
Key Accountabilities :
Coordinate the fulfillment of assigned OE (Original Equipment) customer orders and maintain an appropriate stock
level at the distribution centers across the OE business partners
- Check and monitor customers order release data to insure orders will be filled on time for all OE business partners
- Work with Global HQ and field sales employees to ensure incoming order volumes are adequate to fulfill any
fluctuations in the customers forecast and / or plan
Work with carriers and 3rd party warehouse to ensure JIT deliveries are made on time and resolve any out of line
situations.
- Work with OE Manager to adequately resolve ail issues with OE customers
- Participate in the development of the PSI (Purchasing Sales Inventory) process
- Support the VP and Account / Manager with day-to-day office operational flow
1) Expense reports, travel coordination, office utility maintenance, etc.
Facility management and Operations
1) Coordinate communication between property management and V.P. of building
2) Coordination of office expansion and relocation of current office suites if necessary
- Review current and expiring vendor contracts, research for cost saving
- Ordering supplies
1) Office supplies, postage, break room supplies
2) Tire supplies (labels, DOT Markers, etc.)
Level of Accountabilities
- Individual contributor, reports to OE SCM Manager.
- Professional level position with impact to business based on decision making.
Core Competencies
Core Competencies
- Computer skills required, including MS-Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word.
- Ability to demonstrate good oral and written communication skills.
- ERP System (SAP) knowledge a plus.
- Must have the ability to prioritize with well-developed multi-tasking skills to OE SCM related function.
- Excels in a team environment.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and is well organized and detail oriented.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree preferred, however a mix of experience along with an associates or high school education may work
- Previous Supply Chain Management and Administrative experience preferred.
