Who you are :
As a Data Engineer II , you will lead the design, development and testing of complex reports and dashboards using various business intelligence tools at Frost .
You’ll use your strong problem-solving skills to ensure that the systems are performing optimally and meet our high standards.
You believe in effective communication and will have the opportunity to address potential problems and solutions to complex issues.
What you’ll do :
- Develop and maintain data pipelines to automate data ingestion and processing
- Develop reports and dashboards to support the lines of business and key initiatives
- Perform Ad Hoc data requests for business users and Executive management as needed
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data requirements
- Develop and enforce data governance policies and standards
- Always take action using integrity, caring, and excellence to achieve all-win outcomes
What you’ll need :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 2+ Years of experience as a data engineer or in a related role
- Strong understanding of database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL
- Strong knowledge of Cognos and Business Objects reporting tools
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Additional Preferred Skills :
- Familiarity with commercial loan servicing data
- Experience in building Tableau dashboards
