Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years experience and successful completion of at least 1 travel contract.

- Nurse Patient Ratios : 4-1
- Required Certifications (i.e., BLS, ACLS?) : BLS
- Common diagnoses / Types of patients Med-Surg, Sickle Cell, heart failure, etc.
- Experience or 'Must have' skills : Telemetry
- Are RNs required to titrate drips? : PCU Nurse will
- Common titratable & / or set rate drips : set rate
- Charge Nurse / House Supervisor? Does the charge nurse take an assignment? : Yes
- Are there nurse aids on this unit / Ratios : Yes, 12 - 1
- RT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc) : Nasal, face masks, bipap
- Are there Tele / Monitor Techs on this unit? No, it is monitored on the 3rd floor
- Are RNs required to read their own strips? No
- What brand are the tele monitors? : Space Lab
- Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) : Yes to self-scheduling
- Weekend Requirements : Every other weekend
