Short Description
Job Description : Advanced Practice Provider (APP) , Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Full Time with Nephrology Department
The APP assumes responsibility for Advanced Practice Provider within a clinical specialty.
In consultation with other members of the health care team, strengthens nursing practice and promotes positive patient outcomes.
Responsibilities include clinical practice, staff and patient education, and research.
The APP will serve as a significant member of the multidisciplinary health care team in the inpatient, outpatient and community settings.

Education Requirements
Master’s degree in Nursing NP or Physician Assistant is required.
License / Certification Requirements
New Jersey License : Advanced Practice Nurse and Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant
Certification : American Heart Association BLS
Certification : NCCPA
Special Requirements
Schedule / Days / Hours : Varies; 40 hours weekly.
