Director, Interior Architecture & Design

Ware Malcomb has an exciting opportunity in our Atlanta office for a Director, Interior Architecture and Design!

The Director is a key member of the Ware Malcomb senior leadership team responsible for leading design, growth, revenue, profitability, team members, and client relationships for the Atlanta market.

Your role involves fostering a positive, team-oriented environment and ensuring the achievement of our business and design objectives.

This includes spearheading the growth and leadership of our interiors group by enhancing design, meeting financial targets, mentoring existing interiors team members, and expanding our interiors business locally.

Responsibilities :

• Lead and oversee all aspects of the interior design studio to ensure successful growth, ensure financial goals are met and outstanding project outcomes.
• Develop new client relationships within the industry to create project opportunities.
• Participate in industry organizations and events to increase firms profile in the marketplace.
• Maintain and manage existing client relationships.
• Partner with marketing to develop collateral for opportunities and project pursuits.
• Oversee design direction for the studio.
• Review of proposed designs and technical drawings produced by the interiors studio.
• Collaborate and partner with Atlanta leadership team in the leadership of the Atlanta office.
• Participate in firm wide leadership meetings and initiatives.
• Create and lead a positive, team orientated environment. Mentor team and ensure growth goals are met.
• Partner with internal Talent Acquisition to hire new team members.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or Architecture
• 15+ years of Interior Design project experience
• Business development experience
• Experience leading an office or studio
• Excellent communication, mentorship, and organization skills
