Job Summary
Remote Provider Relations Administrative Assistant is primarily responsible for supporting the Provider Relations team by managing the administrative aspects of provider updates, changes, and additions.
This position is key to ensuring that Provider Relations Advocates in Texas, Missouri, and Ohio can focus on leading the expansion within their respective states.
Pay : $32 35 an hour based on experience (overtime will be paid at 1.5 times the normal hourly pay rate).
Hours : Full Time - Monday-Friday 8am-4 : 30pm CST

Job Duties :
- Process any provider demographic updates in accordance with internal policies and procedures
- Complete and submit Demographic Maintenance Requests for outpatient providers and facility updates, ensuring accuracy in the internal provider records system.
- Assist Provider Relations Advocates with various administrative tasks, including maintaining accurate provider information in the system
- Support the scheduling and preparation of provider meetings as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A reliable high-speed internet connection (the faster the better)
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
- Private, quiet, and distraction-free workspace in a room with a closed-door
Highly Preferred
- Large corporation experience
- Health plan / managed care / healthcare industry experience
- 1-3 years of experience in Provider Relations within a health plan or network
- 1-3 years of experience in Provider and Facility Database Management
- 1-3 years of experience in Provider Practice Administrator
