Description
The role of the Executive Communications Leader is to strengthen the visibility and influence of a Senior Product Supply (PS) leader and their leadership team by helping them better understand themselves (their strengths, weaknesses, values, what drives them) so they can communicate with one voice consistently and authentically internally and externally and in doing so help build the business.
The leader should be an energetic self-starter who brings a creative storytelling approach to every project. They must also have a strong track record in producing high-quality, crisp messaging and presentations for senior executives, a demonstrated ability to work with highly confidential information, exemplary organizational skills, and an uncompromising eye for quality and detail while working on several projects simultaneously.
The candidate should be able to operate with a good level of independency, yet be in touch and engaged with the different HC PS teams globally and regionally.
Job is located in Cincinnati and will require 50% travelling.
As the Executive Communications leader, you will :
1. Provide strategic ongoing Communications coaching and support SVP and Lead Team
Provide ongoing strategic messaging counsel to SVP, coach SVP & key LT-members to develop own Message Track / Narrative which will ensure they tell a consistent and authentic story’ to their organization.
Practice delivering messaging in a clear, consistent, and authentic manner.
Drive immediate Business Results while building a long-term unifying culture.
2. Create and implement Internal Communications Narrative, messages, assets and Plan :
Create dedicated SVP Comm Plan + plan for Strategic LT SPOC’s to drive a consistent message across global-, key-regional- and platform touchpoints.
Creation of Communication Toolkits to drive Leadership Narrative across all sites globally
3. Build P&G Reputation and Influence through an External Comm Plan
Develop a Communications Plan identifying the right external forums (Supplier & Retail Partner focused), ensure the building blocks are consistent / complementary with the internal messaging and tell a consistent story to help build our Business and brands externally, and will establish HC PS as an impactful thought leader in the Supply Industry.
4. Build Capability
Establish an Agency support Network for PS HC Comm with special focus on Creativity, Digital Content Creation leveraging AI Comm tools (incl. Monitoring).
5. Protect the Business
Build robust Issue & Crisis Expertise (Quality, M&A, Restructuring working closely with HR & F&A), provide counsel on potential external & internal risks to leadership, create scenario planning & communication materials to mitigate any crisis that might arise.

Learns quickly; internalizes and applies a leader’s unique voice across a range of communications channels and topic areas.
Understands and effectively communicates detailed business results and complex marketplace dynamics. Knows how to adapt messaging to different audiences.
Embraces a robust workplan that is a mix of strategic and executional deliverables; enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly.
Operates with a sense of urgency, is highly responsive, stays ahead of deadlines, and demonstrates excellent execution and follow-through.
Is respectful of Confidential materials.
Has the ability to work calmly and maintain good judgment in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Ideally has a coaching accreditation.
