Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Senior Manager, NPI Operations Strategy. This position is based in Santa Clara, CA.
About the Role
The Sr. Manager, NPI Operations Strategy will play a key role in the development and commercialization of the Ottava surgical platform.
This leader will apply manufacturing experience to Ottava's groundbreaking New Product Introduction, getting immersed in a complex and innovative program for Robotics capital equipment.
The successful candidate will be driving team performance, enhancing organizational capabilities long term and leading critical projects to improve processes.
We are looking for talent who can effectively lead a function and collaborate well across different disciplines to optimize output.
The candidate is flexible, self-motivated, curious, and passionate about revolutionizing the world of medical robotics.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee other Managers, Supervisors, and / or individual contributors within a matrix environment (role requires 0-5 direct reports).
- Conduct effective performance management methods in a dynamic environment.
- Ensure manufacturing deployment processes align with organizational goals and objectives.
- Consolidate information on data monitoring and analytics metrics to evaluate past performance and trends and forecast inventory and distribution requirements.
- Support pre-production builds and testing to ensure long term feasibility for manufacturing.
- Lead operational aspects of the team, including workflow, performance, and compliance, ensuring achievement of team goals within established timelines and budgets.
- Integrate Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and decision making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Sciences, Business or equivalent.
- A minimum of 10 years proven experience in manufacturing in development programs and commercial products.
- Proven capability to oversee and empower large teams through influence, navigate through changes, and mentor others.
- Experience in actively managing key collaborators and leading critical projects to improve processes.
- Strong ability to consolidate and analyze data metrics to evaluate performance and anticipate needs.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is 136000 to 234140.
