Job Title : General Automotive Service Technician
Location : Mad Hatter Auto Repair - Council Bluffs, Iowa : 3338 W Broadway
Salary Range : $50,000 - $80,000 annually
Mad Hatter Auto Repair in Council Bluffs, Iowa, renowned for its exceptional service and commitment to customer satisfaction, is seeking a skilled and experienced General Automotive Service Technician to join our team.

As a General Automotive Service Technician at Mad Hatter Auto Repair, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, from routine maintenance to complex repairs.
You will play a crucial role in diagnosing and fixing vehicles, ensuring that our customers receive reliable and efficient service.
Responsibilities :
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and various repairs
- Diagnose and troubleshoot automotive issues accurately
- Provide detailed and clear explanations of repairs and services to customers as needed
- Stay up to date in automotive technology, including continuance of participating in paid training to grow your technical skills
- Work efficiently and effectively, both independently and as part of our team
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
Requirements :
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Automotive Service Technician
- Possession of at least one ASE certification
- Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- A commitment to quality and integrity in all work performed
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in automotive repair is a plus!
