District Manager Job Summary
We are seeking a District Manager to be responsible for managing service delivery and profitability for various product lines including source testing, leak detection and repair (LDAR), continuous emissions monitoring (CEMs), and pressure relief valve maintenance and repair (PRV).
This role also oversees customer service, financial management, communication and collaboration, problem-solving, decision-making, and team leadership and development.
District Manager Responsibilities
- Overseeing all aspects of operations for all products and services provided.
- Ensuring a safe work environment and providing necessary tools and equipment for safety.
- Managing resource allocation, workload assignment, scheduling, inventory, staffing, and performance.
- Analyzing financial reports and performance metrics for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Recruiting, hiring, training, and developing staff members. Providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure effective performance.
- Identifying business challenges and suggesting action plans to upper management.
- Managing employee overtime, vacation requests, and disciplinary actions.
- Conducting new hire interviews and offers.
- Performing audits every 4-6 months to ensure quality and control.
- Ensuring district operations comply with company quality, safety, and environmental programs and policies.
District Manager Position Requirements
- Four-year degree from an accredited college / university in Science, Mathematics or Engineering (or industry experience equivalent).
- 5-10 years field experience regarding technical, industrial, and / or oil and gas services (preferred).
- Knowledge of industry requirements and regulations as well as technology utilized.
- Proficient with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, etc.).
- Willing to travel to visit the company’s operational locations and headquarters, as required.
