This role is primarily a hands-on management position that involves direct involvement in the day-to-day operations.
As a strategic leader, you'll drive process improvement initiatives, collaborate on innovative solutions, and foster a positive culture that prioritizes customer satisfaction and productivity
Responsible for the oversight of all distribution operations, including pulling, stock runs, and all related inventory transactions
Oversight for scheduling appropriate levels of staff to allow for maximum production effectiveness within the shipping and all distribution departments

Conducts analysis of existing business processes using methods such as gap analysis or PDCA to identify areas for improvement
Acts as an internal consultant, developing short- and long-term strategies for the organization, incorporating Six Sigma, Agile, and other practices as necessary to drive progress and reduce costs
Coordinates and leads key improvement projects across all organizational levels, potentially overseeing multiple teams or collaborating with managers to re-engineer processes
Establishes measurable standards at project initiation and regularly generates detailed update reports for management, comparing actual project results against these standards
Provide guidance and make improvements to the inventory systems and inventory strategy
Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse layout, space utilization, and inventory management processes
Work collaboratively with the sales teams to ensure client satisfaction
Tracks project performance to analyze successful completion of short- and long-term goals
