Key Responsibilities
As a Med-Surg Registered Nurse on the night shift, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients with a variety of medical conditions, ensuring they receive high-quality treatment and support throughout their hospital stay.
Your responsibilities include :
- Administering medications, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitoring and documenting patient vitals and conditions using the Epic EMR system
- Assisting patients with post-operative recovery and chronic condition management
- Communicating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and update patient care plans
- Educating patients and families about their health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care
- Managing patient admissions, transfers, and discharges efficiently
- Responding promptly to patient needs and emergencies during the night shift

Qualifications
- Active RN license in New York (or compact license)
- BLS certification required
- 1-2 years of recent Med-Surg nursing experience
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred
- Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
