Our preschool is now seeking a wonderfully passionate and motivated Assistant Teacher who enjoys and has experience with 2-3 year old's .

This position starts at $15 / hour. Full-time employees are eligible to receive a generous benefits plan, including medical, dental, life, vision, a flexible spending account (FSA), short and long-term disability, a matching 401(k) plan, holiday pay, and, after the first year of employment, accrued paid vacation time.
In addition, you will receive a SIGN-ON INCENTIVE OF 40 HOURS OF VACATION TIME OFF AFTER SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF YOUR 90 DAYS PROBATIONARY PERIOD, TO BE TAKEN WITHIN YOUR FIRST YEAR OF EMPLOYMENT.
Skills / Requirements
- Must have a High School diploma or GED; and at least o ne (1) year of experience working in a child care facility.
- Must have the 40-45 hours DCF Childcare Licensing training (Part 1, Part 2, and Early Literacy for Children Age Birth Through Three) and must have passed the exams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education.
- Two (2) or more years of experience working with infants through pre-kindergarten in a child care facility.
- Advanced training in CPR, First Aid, Child Abuse and / or Child Development.
