Position Summary :
Assess, plan, develop, implement and evaluate clinical and non-clinical educational programs for a healthcare organization.
Ensure adherence to Hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Patient care assignment may include various age groups.
Detailed responsibilities :
- Assess patient safety and report any concerns
- Identify educational needs and develop appropriate instructional programs
- Implement educational curricula using adult learning principles
- Monitor, evaluate, and revise educational programs
- Maintain current knowledge and competency in the field of expertise
- Integrate ethics within all areas of educational practice
- Provide leadership and promote quality outcomes
- Collaborate with other professionals and stakeholders
- Maintain documentation and records of instructional programs
- Establish and maintain open and effective communication patterns
Qualifications
Education :
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Master's Degree in Nursing or related discipline
Experience :
3 years directly related experience
Credentials :
- CPR for Healthcare / BLS certification
- Registered Nurse license
Physical Conditions :
Heavy Work : Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and / or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently
Working conditions :
Sig Hazard : Chemicals, Bio Hazardous Materials req PPE
