Overview
The Utah Manufacturing Extension Service at Utah State University is seeking an individual to help with the data entry of new and current Utah manufacturers.
This will include using Microsoft Office and other computer applications to update or creating new data records for Utah manufacturers or suppliers that exist in the state of Utah for the CONNEX UTAH platform.
This position will be based out of the Logan, Utah campus telework eligible within the state of Utah. This is a temporary position and will last for 4 to 12 weeks.
Responsibilities
- Accurately input and update information on new and existing Utah manufacturers and suppliers in the CONNEX UTAH platform.
- Create and maintain organized records within the database to ensure that information is up-to-date and correctly formatted.
- Review and verify the accuracy of data entered into the system, correcting any discrepancies as needed.
- Learn and navigate the CONNEX UTAH platform to update and create profiles of Utah-based manufacturers and suppliers.
- Work effectively in a remote setting, ensuring consistent communication and timely completion of tasks.
- Collaborate with other team members or departments to gather information or resolve any issues related to the data entry process.
- Regularly report progress and completion of assigned tasks to supervisors or team leads.
- Complete all data entry and updates within the designated 4 to 12-week timeframe.
- Handle sensitive manufacturer and supplier data with confidentiality and ensure data security during the entry and management process.

Advertised Salary
$25.00 per hour
Employees work indoors and are protected from weather and / or contaminants, but not, necessarily, occasional temperature changes.
