Warehouse Operations Manager
Direct Hire Opportunity)
Summary of duties :
This is a hands-on managerial role in a warehouse setting with tasks such as : Loading, unloading, and moving materials within the warehouse.
Shipping, receiving, delivery driving as needed, material handling, inventory control, staging, forklift operation, and order picking / packaging.
- Upselling to customers and displaying superior customer service skills.
- Handling the more technical or complex service questions from customers and applies judgment in resolving service, warranty, or technical problems.
- Ensuring that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency with customer satisfaction the primary goal by supervising, organizing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operational goals
- Developing warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory, basic maintenance, and shipping methods
- Train and manage the warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals
- Oversee daily operations while controlling and managing inventory and logistics.
- Review and prepare workflows, staffing requirements, space allocations, equipment layouts, and action plans that meet company standards for productivity, quality, and customer service
- Additional duties can include accounting, financials, technical support, purchasing, and sales.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures and by complying with legal regulations
Qualifications :
- Prefer some college courses in logistics and / or supply chain management
- Three or more years of experience in a warehouse / operations managerial role
- Proficiency with warehouse procedures and policies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities
- Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff
- Ability to deliver effective feedback, both written and verbal
- Forklift experience / prefer certification
- Excellent computer skills and math proficiency
- Superior customer service skills required
- Clean MVR (driving record) required
- Ability to lift 50lbs independently
Schedule :
Monday - Friday, 8am to 4 : 30pm with overtime if / as needed
Pay :
$28.00 / hr to $36.00 / hr, DOE
Location :
Located in Denver, near I-25 & 44th Ave
Strict 7 Year Criminal Background Check and Drug Screen Required (THC is tested for pre-employment.)
