Franchise Business Consultant -
MUST RESIDE IN SEATTLE AREA
Position Description :
The Franchise Business Consultant is responsible for managing and offering consultation
to a portfolio of Mathnasium franchised centers, with the goal of helping them manage and grow their
franchised business revenue, and profitability, and manage costs. The Franchise Business Consultant is also
responsible for ensuring that each franchisee operates within System Standards, and will have the responsibility to guide franchisees through their adoption of new and revised systems and standards. Familiar
with local center and social media marketing, networking capabilities and leadership skills. High energy.

Position located in Seattle
- Minimum visit / communication requirements :
- Visit each center 1x a year.
- Visit each owner 2x a year.
- Quarterly Business Reviews with each owner.
- Monthly care calls.
- Hosting regional meetings and webinars
- Ability to build trust.
- Must be able to travel.
- Provide assistance and encouragement throughout the life cycle of a franchised business, from site selection and opening, through start, up growth, expansion and transitions to new owners.
- Develop and maintain working relationships with the franchisees in your Area, respectfully, building trust and accountability.
- Assist existing franchisees with center site selection when opening additional locations, or relocations, according to the guidelines set out in the Mathnasium Operating System.
- Assist franchisees to evaluate their center operations and coach franchisees to set and reach new targets
- Manage compliance needs, ensure franchisees in the area are informed and meeting expectations
- When non-compliance items are found, work with the franchisee to correct the issue prior to escalating it, allotting appropriate time for correction, and if not corrected, report non-compliance items to Franchise Operations.
- Assist franchisees in selling and / or closing their centers, when necessary. Collaborate and partner regularly with cross-functional support teams.
Examples of Key Projects / Goals :
- Manage a portfolio of 50-75 units and 35-50 franchisees, acting as primary contact for communication and support.
- Provide consultations and recommendations to improve unit performance, revenue, student counts, and compliance.
- Manage and meet company goals for revenue growth and adoption of new initiatives.
Required Skills :
- MUST RESIDE IN SEATTLE AREA
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and proofreading skills
- Working knowledge of current Social Media as a marketing tool
- Technologically proficient in order to work efficiently and communicate in current platforms and audio-visual media
- Positive and engaging personality.
- MINIMUM OF 3 YEARS IN A FIELD FRANCHISE SUPPORT ROLE
- Eagerness to learn and take on additional responsibilities
Job Type : Full-time
Pay : $100,000.00 - $112,000.00 per year
