About the Role :
Location : South San Francisco Bay Area
Base Salary : $180K to $220K + Equity
Responsibilities :
- Design, implement, and maintain networking and network security projects from conception to deployment
- Champion the development of a Network Operations Center to ensure around-the-clock network monitoring and rapid incident response
- Deploy cutting-edge technologies such as Palo Alto Networks firewalls, Meraki, and Ruckus wireless solutions, while emphasizing proactive network health management through advanced alerting, comprehensive reporting, and continuous monitoring
- Cultivate a Zero Trust security culture, integrating automation, Zero Trust principles, and best practices into everyday operations
- Provide after-hours and on-call support as needed
Preferred Skills :
- 4+ years of experience in networking, with a specific focus on network architecture, networking infrastructure, and network security
- Proficiency in AWS advanced networking, cloud platform management, and public cloud configuration, with a strong track record of managing AWS workloads
- Experience with Palo Alto Networks, Cisco (Meraki), Aruba, and Ruckus
- Knowledge and experience with Zero Trust and network automation
- A proven track record in designing and implementing resilient, high-performance network solutions
