Our Associate General Counsel will support our business with all regulatory and legal matters. They will be responsible for overseeing title-related legal projects as well as servicing and other loan-level litigation.
100% onsite attendance is required.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Providing business support on a variety of regulatory and legal matters
- Experience in overseeing and litigating servicing and other loan-level cases
- Interpreting legislation and regulations affecting mortgage brokers and lenders
- Reviewing business relationships with vendors
- Conducting legal research on unique legal issues impacting the organization
- Keeping abreast of legislative changes that may affect the Company
- Performing pre-litigation work to minimize risks and maximize legal rights
- Providing legal training to Company team members
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
Must Have Qualifications :
- Michigan bar licensed attorney
- 3 years of experience performing corporate legal work
- Experience in the mortgage banking, banking, loan servicing, or financial industry
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Effective planning, organizational and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks effectively
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and able to work well in a team-based environment
