CAREGIVER (CNA, HHA, PCA)

Cornerstone Assisted Living is hiring for Part-Time Caregivers (CNAs, HHAs, and PCAs) to join our team. In this role, you will provide cares and pass medications to our residents.

There are Part-Time benefit eligible positions working a varied schedule including every other weekend.

Part-Time Hours : 5 : 00 pm to 9 : 00 pm

Pay : $16.92 - $19.81 / depending on experience

What does a Caregiver do?

• Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per individualized care plan.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed. Report changes or concerns to the nurse.
• Document services performed on computerized charting system.
• Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, reaction, and appetite, to the supervisor.
• Assist the resident with personal care which may include the following : shampooing of hair, assist with showering / bathing, fingernail and foot care, and medication administration.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

What does a Caregiver require?

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Attendant (PCA) experience preferred, but not required.
• Med Passing experience strongly preferred, but not required
• A passion for geriatric care.
• Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
• Ability to work a consistent work schedule.
• Must be 18 years or older.
