Come join our Four Seasons Family! We are hiring for a Reservations Manager / ResComm Manager! ResComm is a combination of Reservations and Communications department.
The Position / Role
Four Seasons Resort and Residences Napa Valley is seeking candidates who have knowledge of Opera, ACD, and other Operating systems.
The Reservations Manager / ResComm Manager will supervise the activities of the team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the department to ensure all standards are met. Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, complete performance evaluations, coach, and manage employees.
- Manage various hotel systems HotSos, Opera, Glitch Database, Golden FS Chat, Book 4 Time, OnTrack, Workday, Reservations System, MS Office, etc.
- Maintain reservation standards for room and dining. Review arrivals reports a minimum of three days in advance of arrival.
- Develop and follow all P&P’s regarding call standards, guest privacy, deposits and billing.
- Manage room inventory, reservations block assignment, availability controls and overbooking strategy.
- Maintain strong operational knowledge of all key technical systems.
- Oversee rate and package code configuration.
- Supervise and assist with the answering and directing of phone calls and requests.
- Perform daily stand up and run departmental meetings.
- Resolve customer complaints, handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism.
- Prepare and distribute occupancy and revenue forecasts.
- Review / analyze call volume reports and act as appropriate.
- Enforce the established room and rate availability guidelines.
- Support the functions of the Group Rooms Coordinator and Guest Recognition Program.
- Control all suite reservations in conjunction with Guest Experience Team.
Who You Are
- College degree preferred.
- 2+ years experience in Front Office / Reservations management position.
- Understanding of luxury Resort / Hotel product.
- Knowledge of Napa Valley and surrounding areas, highly desirable.
- Strong Computer Skills.
- Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Work quickly in a high-pressure environment.
- Must be flexible with schedule.
- Ability to multi-task in a high volume and demanding environment.
- This position is not remote and is not eligible for work sponsorship / visa. Candidates must possess valid US work authorization.
