Position : Special Education Teacher
Description : We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team in Lillington, North Carolina.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with students with diverse learning needs and the ability to create an inclusive, supportive, and effective learning environment.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the varying needs and interests of students.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, counselors, and administrators to support student success.
- Assess students' progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student performance and progress.
- Provide a safe and positive classroom environment.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Valid North Carolinateaching certification in Special Education
- Experience working with children with special needs preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine interest in the well-being and development of students.
