They will also staff the Dive Shop, slide dispatch and pool gates.Responsibilities : Basic Qualifications : Proficient in English and Japanese Language RequiredStrong verbal communication skills able to positively engage with guests, team members and managementEnthusiastic about interacting with, assisting, and receptive to all guestsProactive in anticipating guest needsMust be able to complete repetitive tasks while maintaining qualityResponsible and matureEnergetic and comfortable giving and taking feedbackProlonged standing for two to three hours at a time and heavy lifting may be requiredYou must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this roleAVAILABILITY REQUIREMENTS : Training Availability : 2-3 weeks of full availability (day AND evening) will be required immediately following the start date to complete the trainingMust be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays and special eventsThis role is Full-Time and requires full availability for any shift, a MINIMUM of THREE (3) days per week, including nights and holidaysPreferred Qualifications : Previous experience in a Hotel / Resort environmentPrevious cabana or pool service experienceKnowledgeable about Resort and surrounding areasKnowledge of Hawaiian / Japanese language preferredPrevious experience in hospitality or tourism related role on the Hawaiian Islands preferredFull availability for any shift, seven (7) days per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays is preferredAdditional Information : SCHEDULE AVAILABILTYFull-time - Full availability is required seven (7) days per week, including weekends and holidays per business needsOur Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5 : 00am while some may end as late as 3 : 00am, 4 : 00am or 5 : 00am.
