Summary :

The Manager of Plant Maintenance oversees equipment installations, start-up, and maintenance for the plant. As the Manager of Plant Maintenance, you will collaborate and coordinate with vendors while managing maintenance projects.

The Manager of Plant Maintenance will provide strategic planning and guidance to ensure departmental goals are met.

Responsibilities :

• Aid preventative maintenance efforts in support of production workers
• Identifies preventative tasks and implements measures to increase machine reliability and production performance
• Completes equipment repair including the identification and repair of defective parts
• Ensures maintenance resources are planned and in place to meet company standards
• Ensures building and facility maintenance is completed as required
• Performs troubleshooting of complex electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic problems related to production machinery and facility equipment
• Completes required administrative tasks such as logging all preventative and restorative work performed
• Collaborate with other departments to schedule downtime for repairs and to complete end of shift reports
• Ensures stock part levels are adequate for replacement and repairs
• Manages departmental budgets including purchase orders, invoices
• Ensures safety and compliance standards are upheld and tracked
• Ensures departmental staffing through work delegation, performance management, and personnel development

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in related field, or technical certificate
• 10+ years of maintenance or repair experience in a manufacturing environment
• 2+ years of management experience
• Prior working experience with AutoCad, CMMS software, and blueprint and electrical schematics reading, required
• Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, required
• Experience with LEAN principles and techniques, required
